Avondrood Kriek Pinot Noir | 2023

Boerenerf is a revival of a former lambic brewery (Eylenbosch in Huizingen), which dates back to the mid-1800s. The brewery stopped brewing for 50 years until it was revived in 2019 by Senne Eylenbosch, fifth generation of lambic-maker. Boerenerf gets its wort from 5 different lambic brewers ― 3 Fonteinen, De Troch, Lindemans, Den Herberg and Angerik ― and all of its ingredients ― lambic and fruit ― come from the Pajottenland. Their lambic already has the sophistication and depth one expects from top lambic blenderies.
