De Struise Brouwers

Legendary brewery of dark beers in Belgium, the most famous of which is Pannepot, De Struise has been pursuing its extraordinary creations since 2001 in this country more inclined towards tripels than imperial stouts. Located in Oostvleteren, on the east side of a famous Trappist brewery, De Struise has been run for decades by brewmaster Urbain Coutteau. Their barrel-aging program is at the heart of the brewery's operations. The expertise and technique applied to the base beers, the absence of adjuncts and the barrel-aging make them perfectly suitable for aging for a few years.
