Borg Brewery enjoys a rather special position in the microbrewery universe due to the fact that it is a craft microbrewery housed in an industrial brewery, namely Ölgerðin Egill Skallagrímsson, the largest brewery in Iceland . Anyone who tastes Borg products instantly understands that this combination is not a sad compromise. It’s quite the opposite, in fact, as Ölgerðin Egill Skallagrímsson incorporated Borg into his operations with the specific aim of sprouting and spreading Icelandic craft brewing know-how!

Borg brews products of very varied styles, often audacious and inventive, with a marked tendency for strong beers (imperial stouts in particular), and this to our great pleasure since in general this type of product “travels” very well. It is one of the first breweries which Agence Vitriol had the pleasure of importing and we hope that this association will last a very long time.
